This website has been created according to the guidelines & contents info as suggested by the Scout Association of Penang.

All images, graphics and files (e.g. background music and background) are either used with permission or are under the ownership and rights of 18th Georgetown (North) Penang.

Any images in this website may be freely copied or used only with the permission of the owner(s).

We would like to thank the webmasters who allowed us to use graphics and information on this site.

This is a non-profitable website. Therefore, any images copied from this website MUST be used on a non-profitable basis.

Any online information slips delivered to parents/guardians of Scouts involved have been electronically signed and approved by Sri Inai Schools, Penang, the troop, Scoutmaster and the organizing committee.

18th Georgetown North will not be responsible for any inaccuracy of the information given, though we have already given our best effort to keep the information on this site correct.

Privacy Policy
We do not have a "cookie" installed in our system to track the user of this website, but we do collect personal details in our URL submission and feedback form. However, we have tried our best to assure every user that the information collected (name, e-mail, address, etc..) will not be leaked, exploited, or used for any purposes such as spamming. The personal details will be for our own reference only, in case if we need to contact the user.
Troop members of 18th Georgetown North Penang need not worry about their privacy policy as it will be assured and kept by the troop when updating its records.

ScoutingWeb
The ScoutingWeb account and user information is stored in a secure database. There is a cookie set up to remember user preferences and information, but this is only activated by the user upon logging on and thus can be de-activated by the user. Information collected will be kept confidentially.

Any external links from this website is beyond our control and we have made our best attempt to ensure that  it is appropriate. If you happen to find any inappropriate links, please report them immediately to us at 18gtnscout@gmail.com.

Youth Protection
Because of the open nature of the World Wide Web, we must regrettably have a policy not to disclose family names, addresses, phone numbers, or e-mail addresses of our Scouts or leaders, except the Scoutmaster's and office-bearer's names and troop e-mail address.
