Joining Our Scout Troop The 18th Georgetown North Scout Troop is open to all Sri Pinang (Senior) School male students. Sri Pinang (Junior) students join our cub scouts troop, 30th Georgetown North. Scouting is compulsory for students in Form 1, where they will be accepted as a Recruit. In Form 2, students who wish to continue Scouting as their choice of hobby will be enrolled as Members of the troop. Scouting is a uniformed co-curricular body in Sri Pinang Schools Penang and our Scouting syllabus is based on the Scouting syllabus of the Malaysian Scouts Association.
