Tracking Signs
When a Scout goes for a hike, he needs to know these tracking signs. Here are some common examples of tracking signs which are used by Scouts to leave a track or a mark behind so that the other group of Scouts that follows will know where they are.

Two go left, Four go straight ahead

I have gone home

Four steps this way

Do not enter this trail

Obstacle ahead

Go this way

Turn left/right

Water travels this way
