Guess what happened to our Friday troop meeting? It was supposed to be a modern cooking session, but..........somehow the plan changed. No thanks to (you know who!).

First Troop Meeting Posted 5/01/2003
It is a troop custom to hold the first troop meeting on Friday 10th January 2003. Troop leaders and patrol leaders will explain all about Scouting, uniform standards, activities and the troop's arrangement and meetings to new recruits entering Form 1. On behalf of the troop, we would like to welcome all new recruits to our brotherhood.

20th World Scout Jamboree Join-In Posted 22/11/2002
The Penang State Scout Council will be hosting the country's first ever Join-In Jamboree for the 20th World Scout Jamboree held in Thailand. This Join-In Jamboree allows Scouts who will not be attending the World Jamboree to experience Jamboree life and have a chance to communicate with Scouts from all over the world. Sri Inai Gathering 2003??? Posted 1/11/2002
Yes! Yes! The rush is on ! ! ! The Scouts and Guides of Sri Inai has laid out plans to host a follow-up gathering to the successful "mimicry" 2002 Sri Inai Gathering. And 2003 is the year! However, before we set about the major decision-making, we invite suggestions from Scout troops/guide companies/Scouts/Leaders/Guides from Penang, on how to make our 2003 gathering better. Plus, you can suggest a theme for us! All you have to do is e-mail your suggestions to us at ssipscouts@yahoo.com
