A little about this website:-
Launched on the 20th January 2000, 18th GT(N) Online has managed to
grow from strength to strength with the addition of the latest
information, resources, guides and fact sheets.
Originally launched at the URL of www.geocities.com/ssipscouts/,
18th GT(N) Online has moved to the Penang Scouts' Server at www.scout.org.my/18gtn/.
Till date, 18th GT(N) Online has reserved the reputation of being
the most updated yet most resourceful Scouting website in Penang.
This is further enhanced when we launched our "Explore,
Discover e-Scouting campaign" with a brand-new website in early
2001.
18th GT(N) Online also became the first ever Scouting website in
Malaysia to go mobile with the launch of our WAP edition, 18th GT(N)
Mobile, featuring updates on the troop and allowing troop members to
keep in touch with their troop on the move. The launch of the
all-new 18th GT(N) Online aims to refresh the e-Scouting experience.
The main purpose of this new site is for troop members to
communicate, share and receive information related to Scouting. The
Online Library and Interactive tools allows them to achieve this.
As Best Scouting Website of 2000 and JOTI champion in Penang,
18th GT(N) Online is thankful to all its major partners who have
played their part in making this an even better Scouting site for
everyone.
Everyone who has collaborated in this project is a winner. Thanks
again, from the Scouts of 18th Georgetown (North) Penang.
